HORIZON BAY (formerly Merrill Gardens)

Worship services at Horizon Bay Long-Term Care Facility were started as an outreach program to make worship available in assisted-care centers.  Residents sincerely appreciate this service, especially since many are physically unable to get out.

On the 3rd Sunday of each month, members from Sunset Ridge meet at Horizon Bay (9203 Cinnamon Hill) for a devotional from 6:15-7:00 PM.  We offer the Lord's Supper, sing, pray, and bring a short message of hope and encouragement.  Please prayerfully consider placing this ministry on your calendar.  We need not only those who actively participate in leading songs, prayer, and speaking, but we especially need those who will just come and sing and visit, encouraging these older Christians.  Forty-five minutes a month is a small amount of time, but to those who are lonely and sometimes forgotten, it is a gift beyond compare.  Contact Dick and Janet Ihfe for more information.
