The Parental Guidance Required study is a practical resource that will help parents to ask themselves the important questions:

• Am I economizing my time with my child, or am I investing in my child by carefully developing the quality of our relationship over the long haul?
• Am I striving to control the influence that friends have in my child’s life?
• Am I nurturing a healthy, eternal perspective that will help my child to weather the inevitable storms of life?

What will happen at Parental Guidance Required?

Each week will feature a short DVD clip from Andy Stanley or Reggie Joiner followed by a short group discussion.  Group discussions will be facilitated by a different host each week.

It is our hope that married, divorced, and single parents, step-parents; grandparents, aunts, uncles, teachers, mentors; anyone who cares about children, will meet, share, and encourage each other in their roles in children’s lives. 

It is our goal that each participant completes the study with a deeper understanding of the relationships in their children’s lives, and with the encouragement and support of others to complete the journey.
