Prayer and Care Ministries

Radiating God’s love and hope to all

Two teams, one goal

One of our priorities in this church is attending to the physical and spiritual needs of those in our congregation, neighborhood, and community. In order to best serve the needs of different people, there are two teams dedicated to this work— the Pastoral Care Team and the Community Care Team.

Pastoral Care Team

The Pastoral Care Team is congregation-focused, and includes tasks like providing transportation to church and appointments, bringing meals to families, visitation and phone calls, and assisting with funerals. As volunteer support grows, this team hopes to be able to do even more for our people.

Community Care Team

The Community Care Team is more neighbor-focused. Our heart’s desire is to partner with where God is already at work in our neighborhood and city. We believe that there are many ways to do this, and one that is central to our work is caring for our neighbors. This looks like help with cleaning or basic household needs, caring for children, and connecting people to resources.
